CONTEXT

Tallinn Rock Festival was launched as a new music event in the Estonian capital, built from the ground up with no existing visual identity or owned image library. Working directly with the organizer, we developed a visual strategy and brand system designed to introduce the festival to the market and support its first-wave promotion across digital and campaign touchpoints.

PRODUCTION INSIGHT

Because the festival was launching from scratch, the identity had to do more than look distinctive — it had to create immediate recognition and communicate scale from day one. This was not positioned as a cautious debut, but as a major two-day rock event entering the market with confidence. With no existing photo library to build on, we developed a flexible visual language using typography, graphic composition and image-based treatments to create high-impact campaign content across social media, web and outdoor formats without losing cohesion.

 

That launch energy translated into a more aggressive visual code, with fire, heat and takeover motifs used selectively across posters, social assets and campaign graphics to reinforce the festival’s full-force entry into the market.

RESULT

The final system gave Tallinn Rock Festival a clear launch identity and a consistent visual framework for its first communication wave — from brand foundations and website design to social announcements, posters and outdoor campaign assets.
